newly created today. :> i'd been planning to make this after downloading the images from jang geun suk's 2010 calendar. truthfully i don't really know the guy (except that he was in you're beautiful which i. didn't watch. orz) but the photoshoot was really cute. :3
also, you might have noticed that the font for rainlendar has changed. this is mostly because my computer suddenly decided one day it doesn't think the calibri font family exists, even though i can see it /right there/ in font book. the funnier thing is that this happened after i actually downloaded the calibri font family. CONFUSING but what can you do about it.

in other news:
-kpop has once again decided to implode on itself. i have settled on trying to mostly ignore it but i'll be back for mubank's mblaq/beast special stage, idol army's mblaq/beast episode, sbs gayo daejun, and u-kiss's new reality show. which is to say i'm not really going at all, but i like to tell myself i am anyway.
-i broke my headphones. the sound in one side keeps fizzing in/out. i think it has something to do with contacts and not with wires (like you'd normally think) since keeping contact still and twisting wire doesn't change, but twisting jack can bring the sound back (and make it disappear). the question now is to either buy a new ipod (149 (140?) USD for 8GB nano, comes with semi-crappy earbuds), to buy a new pair of the same headphones (60USD, basically rinse/repeat of current pair?), to buy a new pair of different headphones/earphones (elecom pearl: 36USD, zumreed sfit: 50USD + shipping, unless yesasia restocks), or to just stick it out with this pair (0 USD!).
- i need to buy gifts for people and i'm kind of ??? of what to get people. so far:

in other news, school continues to slowly kill me. i got my orgo ii exam back today. i did better than average. that is about all i can say. :/ i'm really angry with myself for getting almost all the pKa questions wrong when they're supposed to be the easiest ones.
the best part is i have a biochem exam next week, another orgo ii exam the week after that, which our professor promises will definitely be more involved/difficult than the first, and a report due for a lab that my group has not finished yet because we were sick on and off for two weeks. fan-fucking-tastic.
i also need to find out what's going on with my research because my professor has basically dropped off the face of the earth which is a little scary. /screams
also, interestingly enough, i have basically relocated to M's room - i spend something like 2-3 hours there every day. that is something like 80% of my day after i subtract class, homework, eating, and sleeping. >|
at least gives me easy access to help (M's actually a bio major, but bio + chem have a surprisingly amount of overlap here. plus she's taking japanese 3 and is totally willing to stand there and repeat 'おもしろくなかったです' for half an hour until i get the pronounciation right). i suppose it's not that surprising - i did the same thing last year, except it was R2's room, plus moo-chan is pretty much never in our room and when she IS she's usually passed out from something like a week of sleeping only for 2 hours because she is insane. >(

i did, however, end up buying the hello kitty humidifier. it ended up being a little cheaper than i thought because i managed to get free shipping from amazon. it makes me go :D :D :D whenever i see it. SO CUTE <3. :3

- still sick. have upgraded from 'sore throat' to 'hacking cough'. fun times, fun times.
- have drunk something like two gallons of honey + tea in the last four days.
- have settled on reading omona's articles but not the comments. compromise!
- learned how to make/send ringtones to my phone. FINALLY. on the downside, do not have free pic/music messaging so the price is prolly gonna be somewhere in the realm of /ridiculous/
- cannot find owl city anywhere in cambridge or boston. wtffff. have settled on buying CD from borders and putting c-zu as recipient and mailing mixes separately. A SURPRISE I GUESS? or something.
- painted nails black in hour i had before class yesterday.
1) lesson: painting nails an hour before class = bad
2) now need to decide on girly design to paint on them. hmm.
- totally failed ADITL -> set time wrong for all of morning (3:33 = 3:33 AM. 15:33 = 3:33 PM), and then forgot camera for all of afternoon
- feel tired but cannot sleep. worse state to be in ever. >(
- have settled on buying hello kitty humidifier and penmanship fountain pen + converter + inks to make self feel better. :D
-watching bakemonogatari. interesting story with pretty art and odd pacing, which is pretty much par the course of all shaft anime series. :|
- had fire alarm while i was sleeping. apparently someone on 7W burned a piece of toast and it set off all the fire alarms in the building. i know the house manager said our fire alarms would be sensitive after they were replaced but this is /ridiculous/
